HEALTH
We prioritize people first in everything we do.
We conduct regular health screenings and ensure that all employees undergo legally required pre-employment and periodic medical examinations.
With input from our workplace physician, we define job-specific health assessments and ensure ongoing monitoring to maintain employee well-being.
We adopt a preventive healthcare approach by continuously observing performance and making improvements where needed in the production process.
Certified first-aid personnel are distributed evenly across all departments to ensure prompt response in emergencies.
ENVIRONMENT
At GIMAS, we go beyond legal environmental compliance by proactively enhancing our processes while maintaining product standards.
As an early adopter of waste reduction technologies, we actively collaborate with Ministry-certified partners for the safe recycling and disposal of waste.
We sort recyclable materials such as plastic, metal, paper, and glass into dedicated bins and deliver them to licensed recycling firms. We also monitor the volume of all waste streams, including non-recyclables.
We perform regular emission measurements and track workplace hygiene conditions, taking into account not only employee health but also the broader community impact.
To use resources efficiently, we follow and implement innovative technologies aimed at reducing energy and water consumption.
SAFETY
We manage our operations in accordance with the OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
All activities are performed in full compliance with applicable laws, standards, and internal procedures-with a strong sense of social responsibility.
To maintain a robust safety culture, we provide regular occupational health and safety training and conduct emergency drills involving our certified safety specialists, technical teams, and company physician.
We prepare and implement emergency plans for prevention, protection, evacuation, fire response, and first aid. Appointed personnel are trained to handle such scenarios, and their performance is regularly reviewed to support ongoing improvement.
OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY
We integrate Lean Manufacturing principles with Occupational Safety practices across all our operations.
Regular 5S evaluations are conducted monthly, and beyond the scheduled inspections, our maintenance teams perform routine audits to identify and implement improvements.
All legally required documentation is kept up to date. In addition to the Annual Training Plan, we organize extra training sessions when needed to keep employees well-informed and safety-focused.
TRAINING
At GIMAS, our annual training plans cover key areas including vocational skills, management systems, product quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental awareness.
We also organize ad-hoc training sessions in response to audits or internal assessments, and we partner with subject matter experts and certified training providers when needed.
With the help of continuous training and hands-on drills, we have cultivated a strong culture of safety. Our aim is not only zero accidents, but to become an industry benchmark for instilling safety as a discipline and a shared responsibility.
