GİMAS Girgin Machinery Manufacturing Assembly and Engineering Industry Trade Inc. was established in 1976 for the production of steel structures and pressure vessels. Today, it is an industrial company operating on a global scale, providing high value-added products to the machinery, mining, cement, energy, mineral, refinery, and nuclear sectors.
Since the day we were founded, we have combined Türkiye’s manufacturing strength with an international understanding of quality, delivering high-standard solutions to both domestic and international projects. As GİMAS, with our structure that accurately analyzes sectoral needs, our strong engineering infrastructure, and our internationally certified production processes, we have become a reliable business partner worldwide.
We began our first production activities in 1978 in our 6,000 m² workshop. In 1992, we moved to our 8,000 m² production facility located on a single plot in Atatürk Organized Industrial Zone, and in the same year we took our first steps into export activities. Today, with a total usable area of 83,000 m² — including 35,000 m² indoor space, 30,000 m² outdoor space, and 18,000 m² stock area — we rank among the regional export leaders. As of 2024, we have further strengthened our global presence.
On February 5, 2024, construction began on our new production facility in Malta, covering 10,000 m². Once operational in 2025, this facility will enable us to produce closer to the European market, faster, and more efficiently. During the same period, in February 2024, we established our company in Germany, and as of June 1, 2024, our Germany office became fully operational. These investments are part of our globalization vision, increasing GİMAS’s effectiveness and reach in the international arena.
GİMAS specializes in the production of mills, crushers, conveyors, mixers, turbine and generator components, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers for heavy industries such as cement, mining, energy, minerals, and refining. The production of high-precision parts for the nuclear and renewable energy sectors demonstrates our engineering strength and commitment to quality.

Founded by Şamil Girgin with a team of five people, GİMAS today continues its journey under the leadership of our Chairman of the Board, Bekir Girgin, supported by the experience of the second generation and the dynamism of the third generation, Emir Şamil Girgin. With the responsibility of being a family company, GİMAS has grown by reinvesting its earnings back into the business.
Following its investments in Germany and Malta, the company aims to establish new production facilities in South America as well. With the contributions of the third generation, GİMAS continues to advance in production, efficiency, and engineering. Drawing strength from its deep-rooted history, the company remains firmly committed to innovation, sustainable growth, and global impact.
