PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

Gimas GIRGIN MAKINE IMALAT MONTAJ VE MÜHENDISLIK SAN. TRADE Ş (“GIMAS”) also shows its sensitivity in the sector regarding the security of personal data.  With this awareness, private and general personal data belonging to our visitors in all kinds of media are protected by the Law on Protection of Personal Data No. 6698, secondary regulations (regulation, communiqué, circular) and binding Personal Data Protection Board. We attach great importance to its processing, preservation and deletion in accordance with the decisions taken and to be taken. With the awareness of this responsibility, we process your personal data as "Data Controller" as defined in the Law, as explained below and within the limits ordered by the legislation.

  1. INFORMATION REGARDING THE DATA SPEAKER

  1. PURPOSE OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

 GIMAS, which has studies on steel construction manufacturing, needs the processing of personal data both when directly fulfilling its legal obligations and when these obligations and the services provided indirectly require it.

In this sense, your personal data is provided by GIMAS;

  • Managing purchasing (product, production, service, etc.) processes
  • Manage payment processes after purchase
  • Managing logistics activity processes
  • Managing supply chain management processes
  • Creating an order form
  • To carry out activities in accordance with the legislation

  1. TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data, for the purposes listed above, in accordance with the conditions set forth in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law; When necessary, a copy of the person or legal entity is given to the court, tax office, Ministry of Labor, Aslanege private security firm, the bank for customs and payments. It is transferred to official institutions when necessary.

  1. METHODS OF COLLECTION AND LEGAL REASONS OF PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data; GIMAS  by natural or legal persons who process data, automatically and through means such as e-mail, telephone, website, various contracts, forms kept in paper form and minutes. It is collected verbally, in writing or electronically by non-automatic methods.

In this context;

  • Supplier employee identification, contact and bank information
  • Company title
  • Visit information
  • Invoice information
  • Video recording

Your personal data such as KVK Law Article 5- 1 2/a-c-ç–e-f clauses are processed based on.

  1. RIGHTS OF RELATED PERSONS UNDER LAW

Your personal data by applying to GIMAS at any time;

  • You can learn whether it has been processed, the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose, and if it has been processed, it may request information on this matter,
  • In accordance with the Law, you can learn about the third parties to whom your information is shared in the country and abroad,
  • If you think your information is incomplete or incorrectly processed, you may request it to be corrected,
  • You may request the deletion or destruction of your information within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the Law,
  • You may request the third parties to whom your information is transferred to be notified of your requests specified in subparagraphs (c) and (d) and to perform the same actions,
  • You can object to the emergence of a result against you due to the analysis of your information by automatic systems, or you can request the removal of the damage if you think that it has been recorded or used illegally and you have suffered damage for this reason.

In case your application for these purposes requires an additional cost, you will have to pay the fee determined by the Communiqué on Application Procedures and Principles to the Data Controller issued by the Personal Data Protection Board. In case of a written response to your application, no fee will be charged for the first 10 (ten) pages, and a processing fee of 1 TL will be charged for each page above 10 (ten) pages. If the answer to your application is given in a recording medium such as a CD or flash memory, the cost of the recording medium will be charged to you.

Your requests in your application will be finalized as soon as possible and within 30 (thirty) days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request.

To take advantage of your rights under the law, you can submit your applications in writing to  GIMAS, provided that they are in Turkish, and for detailed information You can visit the website of the Personal Data Protection Authority.

Your applications;

  1. After filling out the form at https://gimas.gen.tr/ , a wet-signed copy is in person or through a notary public. and forwarding it to the address “Atatürk Organized Industrial Zone 10008 Sokak No.6 35620 Çiğli – İZMİR / TURKEY”,

In the application containing your explanations regarding the right you have as a personal data owner and you will make and request to use the above-mentioned rights; You will need to submit your special power of attorney certified by a notary public if the issue you request is clear and understandable, the issue you request is related to yourself or if you are acting on behalf of someone else.

In your applications, name-surname, signature, T.C. ID number, residence or workplace address, e-mail address, telephone and fax number, the elements of the request are mandatory in accordance with the "Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller". Applications that do not contain the aforementioned elements will be rejected by GIMAS .

GIMAS The right to make changes in this clarification text for reasons arising from the Law, secondary regulations and Board decisions is always reserved. Changes to be made in the clarification text and the updated text will become effective immediately as of the date they are notified to you.
